SLEEPING ANGELS

The speeding cab was inches from handing young Salvatore a tragic, bloody end.  This being the second near-smashing of Salvatore's lifeblood, his theory that his Uncle Tito, rest his soul, was his guardian angel was proven true.  Now Tito, as a human, suffered from narcolepsy, and unfortunately for him, his disorder was not cured with his demise.  This was also unfortunate for Salvatore.  One day, Tito the Angel fell asleep on the job.  This was the day that Phillipe, one of Satan's cherubs, snatched up Salvatore's soul and dragged it down into the underworld.  The first week in Hades, commonly referred to as "Hell Week" Salvatore was hazed relentlessly.  They made him drink obscene amounts of alcohol, made him streak the front lawn, and roasted his stinking flesh with blue-hot pokers of pain.  After that, he was one of them, and Salvatore the Damned and Phillipe the Cherub struck up quite the friendship.  And oh, the hijinks that they caused!
